We are located in a non-touristic and homey neighborhood (street Sheykh Bahaei), but central in between all main sights: Emam Square, Si-o-se-pol bridge, Vank Cathedral, Atashgah (Fire temple), etc. You can walk to most places in 20 minutes. Many city buses run past our street.
Within a few steps there are several supermarkets and small shops, fresh fruit sellers, bread bakeries, kebab restaurants, dozen fast foods (sandwiches/burgers/pizza), pharmacies, print+copy places for your documents.

- Coordinates: 32.65373, 51.65817
- Address in Farsi: خیابان شیخ بهایی. کوچه ٢٨ فردوسی. پلاک ٣۴
- Address in English: Sheykh Bahaei street, alley 28 Ferdosi, house 34 (sign Hostel)
Note: not to be confused with Ferdosi Street, a major street in central Isfahan. Our Ferdosi is name of a small alley off of major avenue Sheykh Bahaei . These smaller alleys have numbers: ours is ٢٨ (28) .
For getting to the hostel from terminals or the airport we recommend using the apps Snapp, Tap30, maxim for getting a taxi ride for cheapest price compared to bargaining in a street. In the Snapp and maxim apps, you can type “annie hostel” in the location search in English (it feeds from Google Maps) and tap it to indicate your exact destination. If you don’t have these apps on your phone, you can ask friendly locals to get a car for you, as pretty much everybody has these apps in their phones. You pay cash at the end of the ride – just note your exact price before getting in.
If hailing a taxi from street, bargain for 5’000 toman (50’000 rials) from bus stations (Kaveh, Soffeh) and for 15’000 toman (150’000 rials) from the airport.
Our referral links for downloading the taxi apps:
Tap30: https://tap30.ir/download ; referral code: I9N5GQ
Maxim: https://taximaxim.com/l/app ; referral code: 36996A27
From Kaveh terminal (north): buses 16 (١۶) or 9 1 (٩١)
From Soffeh terminal (south): bus 34 (٣۴)
These buses ride north-south and don’t turn onto the Sheykh Bahaei street (which is east-west).
Bus 26 (٢۶) runs east-west along the Sheykh Bahaei street.
Please use the GPS to track when you are close enough to get off the bus.
The closest bus stop to the hostel: https://goo.gl/maps/YhgWuchpn8n
Bus fare is 1’000 toman (10’000 rials) if paid cash to the driver. With Esfahan Card you beep entering the bus and fare is 500 toman (5’000 rials). The Esfahan Card is sold at blue booths next to bus stops, costs 5’000 toman (50’000 rials) and comes with 3’000 toman (30’000 rials) balance on it, thus enough for 6 rides.
The closest metro station to us is Imam Hossein: https://goo.gl/maps/CXa5F2LDZoq
But it’s still 20 min walk from there.
We’re still researching public transport options from the airport to the city. Thanks if you’ll have any input.
